      Quick Vehicle Condition Check

Answer a few short questions so we can match you with a carrier that has the right equipment.

      Vehicle Condition Questionnaire
This helps us determine loading equipment ahead of pickup — it takes less than a minute.
      Does the vehicle start?
      Does it roll freely?
      Does it steer?
      Do the brakes work?
      Are the tires inflated?
Is a forklift available on-site, if needed?
Will a winch be required to load it?

Not sure about an answer? A quick guess is fine — our team will confirm everything before pickup.

Most non-running vehicles just need a flatbed or winch-equipped carrier — nothing to worry about.

      Why It Matters

Why We Ask About Your Vehicle's Condition

Knowing the details upfront means we send the right carrier the first time — no delays, no surprises.

      01

      Right Equipment, First Try

A vehicle that doesn't roll or steer needs a winch and flatbed setup — showing up without one causes delays.

      02

      Safer Loading

Knowing brake and tire condition ahead of time lets the driver plan a safe, controlled loading process.

      03

      More Accurate Quote

Non-running vehicles can involve specialized equipment, which is factored into your price upfront — no surprises at pickup.

      04

      Less Time On-Site

When the driver arrives prepared, pickup goes faster for everyone involved.

One wrong answer = one wasted pickup.

If we show up expecting a running vehicle and yours can't roll or steer, the driver can't load it — and everyone loses a day. Six quick questions avoid that entirely.

      Common Questions

      Non-Running Transport FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most from customers shipping inoperable vehicles — or reach out to our team directly.

Can you really transport a car that doesn't start at all?

Yes. With advance notice, we arrange a carrier equipped with a winch and, if needed, a forklift to load a vehicle that can't be driven on under its own power.

Does a non-running vehicle cost more to ship?

It can, since specialized equipment and extra loading time may be involved. Answering the condition questions above helps us quote this accurately from the start.

What if the tires are flat or the wheels are locked?

Let us know in the questionnaire above. Depending on the situation, the carrier may bring a dolly or skates to help move the vehicle onto the trailer.

What if there's no forklift available at pickup?

That's fine — most non-running vehicles are loaded with a winch rather than a forklift. We only arrange forklift support for specific situations where it's actually needed.

What if the vehicle doesn't steer or brake?

We can still transport it! Non-steering or brake-disabled vehicles require a specialized flatbed or winch equipped with wheel dollies to steer and safely secure the vehicle during loading.

Can you ship a project car or a vehicle missing parts?

Yes, as long as all remaining vehicle components, panels, or loose parts are safely secured inside or onto the vehicle before loading.

Do I need to be present at pickup and delivery?

Yes, or you can designate an authorized representative (over 18) to sign the inspection report (Bill of Lading) and hand over keys or assist with access at both locations.

Is an enclosed trailer required for non-running vehicles?

Not necessarily. Most non-running vehicles travel via open transport using winches. However, if your non-running vehicle is a classic, exotic, or restoration project, enclosed transport is available upon request.

Have a Vehicle That Won't Run?

Tell us its condition and we'll arrange the right equipment — winch, forklift, or flatbed — to get it moving safely.
